Milestones from 180 years of Fissler

1845 - Fissler Founding

1845

The tinsmith Carl Philipp Fissler founds a small workshop in Idar-Oberstein, Germany for the production of cooking kettles.

1951 - Novogrill Innovation

1951

Fissler invents a waffle structure for its pans that enables frying and searing even with little fat. The innovation is now registered as Fissler Novogrill®.

1953 - Pressure Cooker Innovation

1953

The multi-stage cooking valve invented by Fissler makes pressure cookers safe to use at home for the first time.

1956 - First Non-Stick Pan

1956

Fissler is the first German manufacturer to produce pans with a non-stick PTFE-coating that's durable, prevents food from sticking, and easy to clean.

1974 - Profi Collection

1974

Fissler develops a cookware series that exceeds the highest demands. The Original-Profi Collection® defines a new standard in quality and performance.

1995 - CookStar Base Innovation

1995

Fissler invents and patents the CookStar® base ensuring optimal heat distribution and energy efficiency.

2018 - Adamant Frying Pans

2018

The scratch-resistant multi-talent: the Fissler Adamant® series of frying pans is launched.

2022 - Ceratal Pan

2022

Fissler launches the PFAS/PTFE-free Ceratal® pan for responsible frying.
